Prof. (Dr.) Ajayapuram Jyothish Kumar: A Luminary in Literature and Academia
Prof. (Dr.) Ajayapuram Jyothish Kumar is a renowned literary critic, poet, orator, educator, and an accomplished academic professional. He has made invaluable contributions to the fields of literature and education. Holding a Ph.D. along with several advanced degrees, he has proven his expertise as a language teacher, journalist, and writer.
He has served as a lecturer in various NSS colleges and as the principal of Rajakumari NSS College, Idukki. Additionally, he showcased his talents as an All India Radio announcer and a television presenter.
Prof. Jyothish Kumar’s contributions to literature and education are remarkable. He was a member of both the Central and Kerala Sahitya Academies and served on the SCERT Textbook Committee. He also chaired the Malayalam Board of Studies at the University of Kerala.
His achievements have been recognized with numerous awards, including the Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award, the All India Radio National Award, and the State Television Award. The expansive journey of his literary brilliance and educational leadership continues to inspire future generations.

(ഡോ.) അജയപുരം ജ്യോതിഷ് കുമാർ, പ്രശസ്തനായ സാഹിത്യ വിമർശകനും കവിയും പ്രഭാഷകനും അധ്യാപകനും മികച്ച അക്കാദമിക് പ്രവർത്തകനുമാണ് . സാഹിത്യത്തിലും വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ രംഗത്തും അമൂല്യ സംഭാവനകൾ നൽകി. പി.എച്ച്.ഡി ഉൾപ്പെടെ നിരവധി ഉയർന്ന ബിരുദങ്ങൾ നേടിയ ഇദ്ദേഹം ഭാഷാ അധ്യാപകനും പത്രപ്രവർത്തകനും എഴുത്തുകാരനുമായി കഴിവുതെളിയിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. വിവിധ എൻ.എസ്.എസ്.കോളേജുകളിൽ അദ്ധ്യാപകനായും ഇടുക്കി രാജകുമാരി എൻ.എസ്.എസ്.കോളേജിന്റെ പ്രിൻസിപ്പലായും സേവനമനുഷ്ഠിച്ചിട്ടുള്ള ഇദ്ദേഹം ആകാശവാണി അനൗൺസർ ടിവി അവതാരകൻ എന്നീ നിലകളിലും മികവ് തെളിയിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.
സാഹിത്യ-വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ മേഖലകളിലെ ഇദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ സംഭാവനകൾ ശ്രദ്ധേയമാണ്. കേന്ദ്ര-കേരള സാഹിത്യ അക്കാദമികളിലുംഎസ്.സി.ഇ.ആർ.ടി. പാഠപുസ്തക സമിതിയിലും അംഗമായിരുന്നു. കേരള സർവ്വകലാശാല മലയാളം ബോർഡ് ഓഫ് സ്റ്റഡീസ് ചെയർമാനായും പ്രവർത്തിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. കേരള സാഹിത്യ അക്കാദമി അവാർഡും ആകാശവാണി ദേശീയ അവാർഡും സംസ്ഥാന ടെലിവിഷൻ പുരസ്ക്കാരവും ഉൾപ്പെടെ നിരവധി അംഗീകാരങ്ങൾ നേടിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. പ്രോഫസർ ജ്യോതിഷ് കുമാറിന്റെ സാഹിത്യ പ്രതിഭയുടെ വിശാലമായ യാത്രയും വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ രംഗത്തെ നേതൃത്വവും വരും തലമുറകളെയും പ്രചോദിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.
